Music and the creative arts are so vital to our children.  Even more so in these strange times.  How will we move forward to ensure our children are safe and still receive excellent quality tuition?

The new normal may well be online tuition - in many forms.

I have been a music teacher for over 25 years and am qualified as a teacher with the Trinity Guildhall Music School in London with a Level 4 teaching diploma.  During my career I have taught private lessons 1:1, primary classroom groups, performing arts and much more.

So, what can they learn with me?

The instruments that I teach are

Piano/keyboard

Woodwind: flute, clarinet, recorder

Strings: violin, cello, guitar

Singing (classical, pop)

I also teach music theory - generally as standard with all instrumental tuition unless otherwise specified.  It is so important especially if they go on to progress to higher grades when theory grades are required to have been taken before moving on.

Through mymusicstaff you will be able to create settings for us to monitor practise, I can upload media files, using mymusicstaff together with Zoom will open new doors in instrumental tuition!

As a teacher I worked for Essex Music Services for 15 years working one to one and with small groups with many different instruments.  I also worked as a PPA Music teacher in primary schools and was assessed as "OUTSTANDING".

In my early working life I worked at the BBC as a Radio Producer for Schools Radio, writing and producing Singing Together, Music Box and more.

The options are potentially endless - so lets see what we can do together!
